About Jaime

Jaime has more than five years of experience conducting qualitative research, including facilitating interviews and workshops, analyzing data, and producing informative and compelling visual communications.

I believe that

  • Users should be included in the design process
  • You must listen before you can understand
  • If you design for one it can benefit the many
  • People don’t care about data. People care about stories.
  • Dogs make the world better

Notable projects

  • Assisting in a project exploring how to humanize post-secondary education and learning at the Inclusive Design Research Centre (Toronto, ON)

  • Co-designing a tactile wayfinding map for Royal Ontario Museum visitors, helping people with visual impairment more easily navigate the Dawn of Life exhibition space

  • Working with Ontario kindergarten teachers to create a classroom activity that promotes pre-braille skills and sparks discussions about braille

Hobbies

In Jaime’s spare time, she enjoys reading (favourite author Matt Haig), knitting, and visiting small towns around Ottawa, antiquing with her boyfriend.
